Great article... i was enthralled after the first paragraph (good opening, but use smaller words in the intro for us dumb folk! YOu know... so you dont turn people away too early).
Anyway, I wish I was at Champs for that battle - sounds really cool. Wierd to hear people talk about turntables being $1500! I still have an 8-track player for my Charger and a turntable in my basement.
...if only I could find a micraphone and one more turntable.
That's where it's at.
